2What Is DMCA

The DMCA is a United States copyright law that provides a process for copyright owners to request removal of material they believe infringes their copyright, and for site operators to respond to such requests. We follow the spirit of this "notice-and-takedown" process for all copyright concerns raised about content on valleydesk.in.

3Filing A Takedown Notice

If you believe that content appearing on Valley Desk infringes a copyright you own or manage, you (or your authorised agent) may submit a written notice to our designated contact below. To be effective, your notice must include the information listed in Section 4.

4Required Information

A valid takedown notice should include:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, including the exact URL(s) on valleydesk.in where it appears.
• Your contact information — name, address, telephone number and email address.

• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.

5How We Handle Notices

Upon receiving a complete and valid notice, we will review it promptly and, where warranted, remove or disable access to the identified material and notify the party who posted or is responsible for it, where applicable. We aim to acknowledge valid notices and take appropriate action within a reasonable timeframe.

6Counter-Notification

If you believe material you posted or that relates to you was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice containing:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the material removed and its location before removal.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the courts in your district (or, where applicable, of Jammu & Kashmir, India).

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may, at our discretion, restore the material after a reasonable waiting period, unless we first receive notice of legal action seeking a court order to restrain the alleged infringer.

7Repeat Infringer Policy

Valley Desk primarily publishes original summaries and links to official Government sources; it does not accept user-submitted content that would create repeat-infringer concerns. Should this change in the future, we reserve the right to restrict access for any party found to be a repeat infringer of third-party intellectual property rights.

8Fair Use Of Public Notifications

Government recruitment notifications, results and admit card announcements are public interest information. Where we reproduce brief excerpts (such as post names, vacancy counts, or key dates) from an official notification, this is done for informational and reporting purposes, with attribution and a link back to the official source, consistent with fair-use principles.

9Changes To This Policy

We may revise this DMCA / Copyright Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
